What KilnPlan stores

This policy matches the current app behavior and stays simple for App Store review.

On-device data

Kilns, templates, pieces, and loads

These records are saved locally so the app can work without a server connection.

Settings and preferences

Unit selection, default values, and other app preferences are stored on device.

Generated exports

Exported backup files are created when you ask for them and remain under your control.

What the app does not do

No account

You do not need to sign in or create a KilnPlan account.

No ad tracking

KilnPlan does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.

No server-side profile

KilnPlan does not keep a remote profile of your planning data.

No hidden sharing

Project data is not shared with third parties beyond the services you choose to use for your own exports.

Files and backups

If you export a backup, PDF, or CSV, that file is written wherever you choose on your device or in your cloud storage. KilnPlan does not upload those files to a KilnPlan-owned server.

Policy updates

If the app changes, this policy may be updated to match. The latest version will remain on this page.
